A major area of expertise within Oakleigh is with respect to business cases, where using the NHS/OGC model (Office of Government Commerce) we have worked extensively with senior managers at national, regional and local level in a significant number of cases. These cases have encompassed the five elements: strategic case, economic case, financial case, commercial case and management case.
Oakleigh has a number of consultants who are chartered accountants, with in-depth practical experience of developing business cases for both public and private sector clients especially in Health.
We have developed a template for the production of Business Cases that draws upon the guidelines released by the OGC and HM Treasury, and the subsequent advice issued by the Department of Health in England on how to interpret these guidelines in a Healthcare setting.
This template forms the foundation of our methodology, which we have successfully used across the UK public sector. Consultants will tailor the Oakleigh approach to address the specific circumstances of the required business case incorporating any previous client experience of developing and submitting business cases.
