PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

How We Can Help

Our research into partnership working in local government revealed that a typical council can be involved in up to 50 formal partnerships but only a small handful of authorities could evidence any significant breakthrough improvements achieved as a result of the partnership.

Oakleigh have an extensive track record of supporting the creation and development of effective partnership working where we have helped ensure that the benefits of pooling capabilities, knowledge and resources in partnership arrangements are realised in tangible service improvements.

Our support has included:

  • A health check of partnership arrangements based upon our unique 'partnership maturity model'
  • Facilitation of partnership development workshops to gain agreement on shared goals, priorities, resource plans and rules of engagement
  • End to end process re-design across partner organisations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Development of 'back-office' infrastructure to support information sharing and joint working
  • Setting up multi-organisation programme and project management arrangements to co-ordinate the implementation of agreed strategies across partners
