Oakleigh appointed by CABE to support a project to define and document urban design competencies

Oakleigh Consulting has been appointed the Commission for the Built Environment (CABE) to support their project to define and document urban design competencies featuring the skills required to perform specific roles by a range of professionals in the built environment field.

Oakleigh will provide a quality control mechanism to ensure that the project takes due account of good practice in competency framework design. The assignment builds upon Oakleigh’s previous work on the development of competency frameworks for planners and broader expertise in the built environment policy area with clients such as Communities and Local Government, the Planning Inspectorate, the Land Registry and the Valuations Office agency.
