DFID framework provides ready access for all public sector clients to engage with Oakleigh
Oakleigh has recently been appointed to the UK Department for International Development (DFID) Information Systems Department (ISD) Framework for the supply of services including:
- Project management.
- IS strategy consultancy.
- IT software and information architecture consultancy.
- Application development.
- Application integration.
DFID and framework members have expended much time and money in the development of this framework and are keen that other public sector bodies benefit from this investment. The Department is therefore actively encouraging such bodies to make use of DFID's frameworks -for which there is no charge.
Use of frameworks for procurement gives the procuring client the benefit of dealing with suppliers who have been through a rigorous procurement exercise to prove their capability and this in turn means that subsequent procurements do not need to go through this process, saving time and money and allowing important projects to be actioned much faster increasing value for money and the likelihood of success.
