Oakleigh Consulting commissioned to undertake study by ESRC
The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has commissioned Oakleigh Consulting to undertake a study exploring how future options for the distribution of ESRC postgraduate funding might influence the long-term development of research capacity across the UK social science community.
Oakleigh will be working with Postgraduate Directions to develop a series of models to enable ESRC to understand the impact of its interventions in building research capacity in the sector and fulfil its aim to maintain a high quality research base. The outcome of this review will be a key input into the Training and Development Board's strategic planning for 2008 onwards.
